Yasmin and Yaz are birth control medications created by pharmeceutical giant Bayer Healthcare. The oral contraceptives were introduced by Bayer in 2001 and 2006 respectively, and have both been heavily marketed to women who are young adults based on the fact that the drugs may be useful in limiting acne as well.
